FULL THROTTLE: What’s with all the cloak & dagger over IMSA testing for the LMDh/GTP series?

The rejuvenated LMDh/GTP series will make it’s return to IMSA in January of 2023 ar the Rolex 24 Hours of Daytona. The manner with which teams are testing would make one think there are nuclear secrets involved. IMSA cracked down on the amount of media allowed at the Daytona testing, and judging by some of the tests, there is already one team and one manufacturer on the verge of doing all the damage in 2023. Add to that there’s a run on top notch drivers from other series who smell blood in the water when it comes to defeating the high-powered GTP teams next year.
